Eagles Create Confusion by Omitting Lane Johnson from Inactive List

The Philadelphia Eagles have sparked confusion by not listing retired right tackle Lane Johnson among their inactive players for the Week 5 game against the Jaguars.

Despite Johnson's retirement, the team’s public announcement did not mention him, suggesting he was active for the game. However, the Eagles confirmed that Johnson was indeed inactive, as noted in their communications with the league.

This situation raises questions about the team's approach to Johnson's status on the roster, as they continue to keep him listed despite his retirement.
