Eagles Face Injuries Ahead of Week 5 Matchup
The Philadelphia Eagles are set to face a challenging Week 5 as they will be without several key players, including running back Saquon Barkley due to a hamstring injury.
In addition to Barkley, receivers DeVonta Smith and Marquise Brown, safety Marcus Epps, and offensive lineman Drew Kendall have also been ruled out for the game. Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been listed with a calf injury but is expected to play after participating fully in practice.
Tight end E.J. Jenkins is also anticipated to play despite being added to the injury report with a toe issue. Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard is questionable for the game after missing practice all week due to an ankle injury. Meanwhile, linebacker Zack Baun and tight end Dallas Goedert have returned to full participation and are off the injury report, ready to contribute.
