Eagles' Jonathan Greenard to Miss Additional Weeks Due to Injury
Jonathan Greenard, a linebacker for the Eagles, has yet to participate in training camp and will be unavailable for several more weeks as he recovers from a pectoral injury.
Currently on the physically unable to perform list, Greenard's defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio, indicated that it will take at least a couple more weeks before he can resume football activities. Fangio noted the importance of gradually reintroducing Greenard to the physical demands of the game upon his return.
Despite his absence from practice, Greenard has been involved in meetings and other preparatory activities, which may help him catch up once he is cleared to play. In the meantime, the Eagles will rely on other players, including Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt, to fill the gap in their pass-rushing lineup.
