Eagles' Jonathan Greenard's Availability for Regular Season in Doubt
Jonathan Greenard, a linebacker for the Eagles, has not participated in any practices this summer, leading to questions about his availability for the regular season.
Last month, Greenard was placed on the physically unable to perform list due to a pectoral injury. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio indicated that it was uncertain whether Greenard would practice during training camp. Fangio expressed concern about Greenard potentially missing the start of the regular season, which is now just over three weeks away.
As Greenard is new to the Eagles, his absence from practice may affect his ability to contribute effectively once he is cleared to play. In the meantime, Jalyx Hunt, Nolan Smith, and Arnold Ebiketie are expected to take on defensive edge roles.
