Eagles Place Dameon Pierce on Injured Reserve, Sign Jaydon Blue
The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Wednesday that running back Dameon Pierce has been placed on injured reserve following an injury sustained in the fourth quarter of Monday's game.
Pierce will be sidelined for at least four games. This marks the fourth running back the Eagles have placed on injured reserve this season. In his three appearances, Pierce recorded 37 carries for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
In response to Pierce's injury, the Eagles have signed running back Jaydon Blue from their practice squad to the active roster. This is Blue's second time on the active roster this season after previously being waived and rejoining the practice squad. He had 34 rushes for 129 yards and one touchdown during his time with the Cowboys.
