Eagles Place Landon Dickerson on Injured Reserve

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that guard Landon Dickerson, a three-time Pro Bowl player, will be placed on injured reserve following a knee injury he sustained during the team's season opener against the Washington Commanders.

As a result of this decision, Dickerson will be sidelined for at least four games. He had played through the injury during the Eagles' narrow 24-22 victory, but later expressed regret about his performance, stating he felt like a liability on the field.

Dickerson's injury is distinct from a previous knee issue that required surgery last season. Following further imaging, the team opted for an extended recovery period. Coach Nick Sirianni praised Dickerson's toughness and contributions to the team, while Drew Kendall is expected to step in as the left guard during his absence.
