Eagles Practice Update: Key Players Missing Ahead of London Trip
The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London without three key offensive starters. Running back Saquon Barkley, center Drew Kendall, and wide receiver DeVonta Smith missed their second consecutive practice on Thursday.
Kendall, who stepped in as a starter following Landon Dickerson's placement on injured reserve, faces challenges after the recent trade of Cam Jurgens and the retirement of right tackle Lane Johnson. The team is expected to announce injury designations for the players on Friday, the same day they will travel to London.
In addition to the three starters, wide receiver Marquise Brown, safety Marcus Epps, and linebacker Jonathan Greenard were also absent from practice. However, linebacker Zack Baun and tight end Dallas Goedert were limited participants after recent injuries, while cornerback Quinyon Mitchell returned to full participation.
