Eagles Release Dean Clark and Xavier Truss from Practice Squad

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced the release of defensive back Dean Clark and offensive tackle Xavier Truss from their practice squad.

Dean Clark, 25, initially signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent from Fresno State in 2025. After being cut from the Jets' final roster as a rookie, he rejoined their practice squad and had a fluctuating presence on the active roster throughout the season. Following this year's preseason, the Jets released him again, leading to his signing with the Eagles' practice squad in mid-October.

During his time with the Jets in 2025, Clark participated in 12 games and recorded a total of 14 tackles.
