Eagles Retain Four Quarterbacks as Roster Cuts Finalized

The Philadelphia Eagles have finalized their roster by retaining four quarterbacks as they trimmed their active roster to 53 players. Among those kept are Tanner McKee, Andy Dalton, and rookie Cole Payton, with McKee and Payton being subject to waivers if not retained.

Andy Dalton's status as a vested veteran allows him to remain on the roster without the risk of waivers. The team also made adjustments to their injured reserve list, reducing their IR activations from eight to six, with players eligible to return in Week 5.

Additionally, running back Pearce is not subject to waivers and may join the practice squad, where he would be positioned behind active roster players Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, and Will Shipley.
