Eagles Retain Four Quarterbacks on 53-Man Roster
The Philadelphia Eagles have confirmed that all four of their quarterbacks will remain on the 53-man roster as they prepare for the regular season.
Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Andy Dalton, and Cole Payton are included in this roster, which was finalized following the roster cutdown deadline. Hurts was expected to secure his spot, while Payton, a promising rookie known for his running ability, has also made the team. McKee and Dalton were in competition for the backup position behind Hurts, and both have been retained for the time being.
In addition to the quarterback decisions, the Eagles have released linebacker Chance Campbell and several other players, including wide receivers Britain Covey and Danny Gray, and placed cornerback Jakorian Bennett and tight end Grant Calcaterra on injured reserve with a return designation.
