Eagles Sign Tahj Washington, Waive Brandon Hayes Ahead of Preseason Finale

Tahj Washington, a 25-year-old former seventh-round pick by the Miami Dolphins, had a challenging start to his career, missing his rookie season due to an ACL injury. He played six games in 2025, recording three receptions for 37 yards. After being waived by Miami, Washington joins the Eagles, where he has connections, including a former coach from his time in Miami.

Washington had a successful college career, leading USC in his final season with 59 receptions for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns. Despite the competition for roster spots in Philadelphia, his signing offers the Eagles a chance to evaluate a player with a notable college track record and special-teams experience.
