Eagles Suffer Another Injury in Running Back Room
The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with another injury in their running back lineup. During a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, running back Will Shipley suffered a lower-body injury in the second quarter and did not return to the game.
Shipley was reported to have a partial tear of his plantar fascia, which may sideline him for several weeks. Before his exit, he contributed to the team's score with a rushing touchdown. Following his departure, Dameon Pierce led the rushing efforts but managed only 14 yards on 11 carries.
The Eagles are already facing challenges with Saquon Barkley on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury and Tank Bigsby on injured reserve. Currently, the team holds a record of 2-3 and is on a three-game losing streak. They will aim to improve their situation in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
