Eagles Trade Pro Bowl Center Cam Jurgens to Ravens for Draft Picks
The Baltimore Ravens have acquired center Cam Jurgens from the Philadelphia Eagles, who are trading him along with a 2027 seventh-round pick for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. This move comes after the Ravens faced injuries to their top three centers this season.
Jurgens, a two-time Pro Bowler, was drafted by the Eagles in 2022 and has played various positions on the offensive line. He primarily played at right guard in 2023 but is expected to return to his natural center position with the Ravens.
The Ravens had to adjust their lineup after injuries to Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn, and Ethan Pocic, leading to Vega Ioane stepping in at center. Meanwhile, the Eagles have lost another key player, as right tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement, further altering their offensive line ahead of their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
