During a media scrum, Hearn confirmed that Aspinall is unhappy with his striking coach, who had previously suggested that Aspinall might exit the UFC. Hearn emphasized that Aspinall is still under contract and is focused on his recovery.

Aspinall has been sidelined since suffering an eye injury during a match against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 last October. Hearn noted that Aspinall is mentally prepared to return, but he requires clearance from the commission regarding his eye condition. Aspinall has resumed training, and if he receives the necessary clearance, he could potentially headline an upcoming event at Madison Square Garden.
