Eddie James Extends Contract with Scarlets Ahead of 2026-27 Season

Eddie James, a centre for Wales, has signed a new contract with Scarlets, securing his position with the club before the 2026-27 season.

Having debuted internationally in 2024, James became a regular player for Wales during the 2025-26 season, earning 11 caps. Although he had a year remaining on his previous contract, he chose to extend his commitment to his home region.

James expressed his strong connection to the club, stating that it holds significant meaning for him. He joins a list of players who have also signed new contracts, including Fletcher Anderson and Gareth Davies. The Scarlets have also made 10 new signings, enhancing their squad for the upcoming season.
