El Hijo del Vikingo Provides Recovery Update After Knee Surgery
El Hijo del Vikingo, a wrestler for WWE and AAA, has shared an update on his recovery after undergoing knee surgery that kept him out of action for more than two months.
The injury, which occurred over the summer, required surgery for a torn ACL. At 29 years old, Vikingo reported that his recovery is progressing better than anticipated, having started to walk sooner than expected.
During his appearance on WWE Ahora, a new Spanish-language podcast, Vikingo discussed his rehabilitation, noting that while he is doing well, he is taking the process step-by-step. He expressed the challenges of being at home after a long period on the road but is enjoying quality time with his family. Prior to his injury, he was the AAA Latin American Champion and last competed in June.
