Elif Nur Turhan Signs with Most Valuable Promotions, Eyeing Unification with Caroline Dubois
Elif Nur Turhan, the Turkish lightweight world champion, has signed with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), moving closer to a potential unification fight with Briton Caroline Dubois.
Previously with Matchroom Boxing, Turhan's transition to MVP is part of a strategic alliance between the two promotions. The 31-year-old remains undefeated in her professional career, boasting 14 wins, eight by stoppage, and holds the IBF lightweight title.
Dubois, also signed with MVP, is scheduled to defend her WBC and WBO lightweight titles against Amelia Moore on August 29 in Birmingham. The partnership between MVP and Matchroom aims to enhance opportunities for female boxers, allowing for more crossover events between the two promotions.
