Elijah Arroyo of Seahawks to Miss Time Due to Shoulder Injury
Elijah Arroyo, the tight end for the Seattle Seahawks, is anticipated to be out for an unspecified duration due to a shoulder injury. This injury occurred while he was attempting to recover a fumble during the Seahawks' recent game against the Broncos, which ended in a 17-14 overtime defeat.
The Seahawks are currently evaluating the severity of Arroyo's injury, which may result in a longer absence from the field. In response to this situation, the team has added tight end Josiah Deguara to their practice squad for additional depth. Deguara, who was drafted in the third round by the Packers in 2020, has played in 78 games, starting 12, and has recorded 53 catches for 471 yards and three touchdowns throughout his career.
Additionally, the Seahawks have signed fullback Jackson Acker to the practice squad while making corresponding roster changes that included the release of running back Dontae McMillan and receiver Malick Meiga.
