Elijah Tsatas Likely to Join North Melbourne After Delisting
Elijah Tsatas, a midfielder who was recently delisted by Essendon, is anticipated to join North Melbourne for the next AFL season. Tsatas was removed from the Bombers' roster following the conclusion of the 2026 season after playing 22 games over four years.
During his time with Essendon, Tsatas achieved a career-high of seven games in 2024 and played six games in the 2026 season before his delisting. As he approaches his 22nd birthday, multiple clubs have expressed interest in acquiring him, with North Melbourne being identified as the most probable destination.
North Melbourne is also looking to sign other players, including Richmond's Samson Ryan, as they prepare for the delisted player market. The delisted free agency period opens on November 2, allowing clubs to sign players who have been cut from their teams.
