Ellie Kildunne on England's Bench Again for Match Against USA
Ellie Kildunne has been named on the bench for England's match against the USA, following head coach John Mitchell's decision to make six changes to the team.
The 27-year-old full-back was previously dropped during England's 31-22 defeat to Canada, with Mitchell indicating that Kildunne needs to demonstrate greater consistency. Despite her impressive record, including two tries and two assists in the last encounter with the USA in August 2025, she will not start in New Jersey.
Mitchell's adjustments include four new starters in the backs, with Tatyana Heard, Claudia Moloney-MacDonald, Flo Robinson, and Holly Aitchison all receiving their first starts of the tour. The coach emphasized the importance of refreshing the team and building depth ahead of the Women's Six Nations.
