Ellis Robinson IV: Rising NFL Draft Prospect from Georgia

Ellis Robinson IV, a cornerback from Georgia, is emerging as a leading candidate for the 2027 NFL Draft, currently ranked sixth on PFF's big board. He has gained attention for his performance, climbing from 18th at the start of the year.

Robinson, a redshirt sophomore, was a top recruit in the 2024 class and has a strong background from IMG Academy. He has shown impressive tackling ability and a solid run-defense grade, distinguishing himself from other prospects. His coverage skills are notable, allowing only a 36.7% completion rate on man coverage targets.

While Robinson excels in short-area agility, he has faced challenges with deep routes, allowing a significant portion of his receiving yards in that area. Despite this, his athleticism and physical play style make him an appealing prospect for NFL teams, with potential fits including the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders.
