Emery Addresses Villa's Home Form Amid Redevelopment
Aston Villa's manager Unai Emery has commented on the team's lack of home victories this season, stating that the ongoing redevelopment of Villa Park for Euro 2028 should not be used as an excuse for their performance. The team has yet to secure a win at home, having drawn against Brentford recently, and is set to face Fenerbahce in the Champions League.
The North Stand at Villa Park is currently closed as part of a £100 million redevelopment project. Despite the challenges, Emery emphasized the importance of unity among players and supporters, noting that the absence of 7,000 fans is a handicap but not a justification for their current standing in the Premier League.
