Emmanuel Imanishimwe's Commitment to Football Development in Rwanda
Emmanuel Imanishimwe, a new signing for Chennaiyin FC, is making a significant impact on the future of football in Rwanda through the Bright Football Academy, which he co-founded with former national teammate Dany Usengimana.
Located in Kigali, the academy serves around 120 young football enthusiasts, offering free training, clothing, and equipment to those selected through trials. For others who wish to join, a nominal fee is charged. Emmanuel aims to give back to the sport that shaped his career, inspired by his former coach Eric Habimana, who now leads the academy.
Despite the challenges of funding, Emmanuel is determined to expand the academy's reach and impact. As he prepares for his first season in the Indian Super League, he expresses confidence in his team's potential for success, emphasizing a strong desire to win with Chennaiyin FC.
