End of an Era: Quick-Step Concludes 24-Year Sponsorship in Cycling
Quick-Step is set to end its 24-year sponsorship in professional cycling, a partnership that transformed a Belgian flooring company into a dominant force in the sport. The team's legacy includes numerous victories and the rise of iconic riders such as Tom Boonen and Remco Evenepoel.
Since its inception in 2003, Quick-Step has been synonymous with success, particularly in the spring classics. Under the leadership of Patrick Lefevere, the team became known as the 'Wolfpack,' winning multiple prestigious races and establishing a strong presence in the cycling world.
As the sponsorship concludes, Safety Jogger will take over the team kit in 2027, while Quick-Step will remain a partner until 2030. Despite the changes, the team's history and achievements in cycling will be remembered as a significant part of the sport's narrative.
