Ethan Thompson Joins KK Partizan on Two-Year Contract
Free agent guard Ethan Thompson has signed a two-year contract with KK Partizan following his recent release from the Indiana Pacers. The announcement was made by the EuroLeague team in a press release.
Thompson's signing was anticipated, as reports from Serbia suggested he had reached a one-plus-one agreement with the club. He cleared waivers on Saturday, which allowed the deal to be finalized.
Last season, Thompson played 32 games with the Pacers, averaging 7.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. He also had a notable performance in the G League, averaging 26.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists across 16 games. The 27-year-old, who went undrafted in 2021, has spent significant time in the NBA G League and has represented the Puerto Rican national team. At Partizan, he will join a roster that includes former NBA players such as Jabari Parker and Lamar Stevens.
