Eustaquio's Injury Not Serious, Canada Soccer Reports
Canada Soccer has announced that Stephen Eustaquio's injury, sustained during a friendly match against the United States, is not serious. The incident occurred in the 40th minute when Eustaquio fell after a challenge by Gio Reyna.
Initially, Eustaquio continued playing but was substituted at halftime by coach Jesse Marsch. The 29-year-old midfielder had his shoulder examined in Minnesota before returning to Swansea for further evaluation.
Eustaquio, who recently joined the national team camp after his wedding, participated in all three matches during the international break, contributing to victories over Chile and Peru before the loss to the U.S. Swansea's next match is scheduled for Saturday against Norwich City.
