Everton and Crystal Palace Finalize Player Swap Deal
Crystal Palace and Everton have reached an agreement for a player swap involving Brennan Johnson and Dwight McNeil. Johnson, who joined Palace from Tottenham earlier this year, will head to Everton, while McNeil will make the opposite move to Selhurst Park.
Both players are expected to undergo medical examinations on Monday before finalizing their transfers, each signing an initial four-year contract with their new clubs. Johnson's time at Palace was marked by a lack of scoring, as he did not find the net in 26 appearances, including 13 starts in the Premier League.
McNeil leaves Everton after three seasons, having scored 15 goals in 128 matches since joining from Burnley in July 2022. The two clubs are set to face each other in the Premier League on August 22.
