Everton Hosts Chelsea in Premier League Clash

Everton is set to host Chelsea in a Premier League match, putting their unbeaten record on the line at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday, October 17, at 12:30pm BST.

Everton currently sits fifth in the league, having secured two wins and four draws from six matches. They have proven difficult to defeat, earning points against teams like Tottenham and Manchester United, and have kept two clean sheets at home. Chelsea, under head coach Xabi Alonso, aims to build on their recent 5-1 victory over Bournemouth, which helped stabilize their season.

Historically, Everton has had the upper hand in recent encounters, winning seven of the last nine matches against Chelsea at home. Last season, Everton triumphed 3-0 in their previous meeting at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, contributing to Chelsea's struggles during that period.
