Everton Signs Christian Norgaard from Arsenal on Two-Year Deal

Everton has completed the signing of midfielder Christian Norgaard from Arsenal on a two-year contract, with the transfer fee reported to be £7 million.

The 32-year-old Denmark international was in the final year of his contract with Arsenal, where he made 20 appearances last season, including seven in the Premier League. Norgaard had previously joined Arsenal from Brentford for £15 million.

In addition to Norgaard, Everton has also acquired central midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough for £16.5 million and winger Tyrique George from Chelsea for £18 million. Manager David Moyes is seeking to bolster his squad with experienced players following the departures of Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gueye.
