Experts Predict Quarterback Rush in 2027 NFL Draft
Experts anticipate a significant demand for quarterbacks in the 2027 NFL Draft, which is set to take place from April 29 to May 1 in Washington.
In a recent mock draft by ESPN's Jordan Reid, the Cleveland Browns are projected to trade up to the first overall pick to select Dante Moore from Oregon, while the Arizona Cardinals are expected to choose Arch Manning from Texas with the second pick, followed by CJ Carr from Notre Dame going to the New York Jets at third.
Historically, quarterbacks have been selected as the top three picks only four times since the draft's inception in 1967. The most recent instance occurred in 2024, which is considered a standout class. Comparatively, the current prospects, while promising, may not reach the same level of achievement as the top quarterbacks from 2024.
