Ezri Konsa Joins Arsenal in £51m Transfer from Aston Villa

Arsenal has secured the signing of defender Ezri Konsa from Aston Villa for £51m. The England international has agreed to a four-year contract, which includes an option for an additional year, following a successful medical examination.

Konsa's transfer comes as Arsenal seeks to bolster its defense due to injuries to William Saliba and Jurrien Timber. The 28-year-old could make his debut against Aston Villa on August 31.

This move marks Konsa as Arsenal's fifth significant signing this summer, following the arrivals of Piero Hincapie, Illan Meslier, Christos Tzolis, and Bruno Guimaraes. The deal was reached after negotiations between the clubs, with Villa initially asking for £60m.
