Facundo Buonanotte Joins Elche on Loan from Brighton

Facundo Buonanotte, a midfielder for Brighton, will spend the current season on loan at Spanish club Elche. This move marks the Argentine's fourth loan since he joined Brighton in January 2023.

The 21-year-old Buonanotte, who transferred from Rosario Central, previously played for Leicester City during the 2024-25 season and had loan spells at Chelsea and Leeds last season. While he had regular playing time at Leicester, he faced challenges in securing minutes at Chelsea and Leeds.

Brighton's sporting director, Mike Cave, highlighted Buonanotte's talent and development since joining the club. He expressed that this loan will allow the player to gain valuable experience in a competitive European league, with the club planning to monitor his progress throughout the season.
