Falcons Activate A.J. Terrell from Injured Reserve
The Atlanta Falcons have activated cornerback A.J. Terrell from injured reserve, as announced by the team on Saturday. Terrell had been sidelined due to a groin injury sustained in Week 2 but returned to practice this week and is now on the active roster without any injury designation.
In addition to Terrell's activation, the Falcons placed offensive tackle Michael Jerrell on injured reserve due to a biceps injury. The team signed defensive end Drake Jackson to the active roster and elevated running back Khalil Herbert and linebacker Brian Asamoah from the practice squad in preparation for their upcoming game against the 49ers.
Wide receiver Beaux Collins has been ruled out for the game due to a hip injury, while offensive tackle Cameron Williams is out with an ankle injury. Defensive back Avieon Terrell, who was previously questionable with a hamstring issue, is now dealing with an illness and remains uncertain for the game.
