Falcons Place Linebacker Yasir Abdullah on Injured Reserve
The Atlanta Falcons have announced that linebacker Yasir Abdullah has been placed on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury.
Abdullah has participated in four games this season, starting once, and has recorded two tackles, one pass defensed, and four quarterback hits. In response to his injury, the Falcons signed safety Jammie Robinson to their active roster.
Robinson made his season debut last week after being elevated from the practice squad, contributing one tackle during 22 special teams snaps. He also played in six games for the Falcons last season. Additionally, the team announced the practice squad elevations of defensive ends Bralen Trice and Drake Jackson, with this being Trice’s final elevation of the season.
