Falcons Release 2024 Third-Round Pick Bralen Trice Without Game Appearance
The Atlanta Falcons have released defensive end Bralen Trice, who was selected in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Trice's time with the team was marked by injuries, preventing him from participating in any regular-season games.
Trice, 25, suffered a torn ACL during his first preseason game, which sidelined him for his entire rookie season. He then re-injured the same knee in 2025, resulting in another year without play.
Prior to joining the Falcons, Trice was recognized as a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 player at Washington and earned MVP honors in two bowl games. Despite the initial expectations, he became one of the few third-round picks in NFL history to never take the field for the team that drafted him.
