Falcons Release Defensive End Bralen Trice
The Atlanta Falcons have decided to waive defensive end Bralen Trice. This announcement comes as Trice has not participated in any games since being drafted.
Trice, a former third-round selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, suffered an ACL tear prior to his rookie season and spent the previous year on injured reserve. The 25-year-old was a standout at the University of Washington, where he earned multiple accolades, including third-team All-American honors in 2023.
During his college career, Trice played in 40 games, accumulating 101 tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, and 18 sacks. He was under a four-year contract worth nearly $6 million, which included a signing bonus of over $1 million.
