Faletau and Adams Set to Return for Cardiff Against Northampton in Champions Cup
Wales internationals Taulupe Faletau and Josh Adams are anticipated to make their first appearances of the season for Cardiff as they compete against Northampton in the Champions Cup at Franklin's Gardens on Sunday.
Cardiff, returning to the top tier of European competition after two seasons in the Challenge Cup, faces a challenging match against the English champions, who recently scored 11 tries against Bath. The team is also dealing with a tight schedule, having only five days to recover before their next match against the Sharks in the United Rugby Championship.
Faletau is set to start after recovering from a shoulder injury, while Adams will be on the bench. The match will also mark the debut of on-loan Leicester lock Tom Manz and the first start for Wales fly-half Jarrod Evans since returning to Cardiff. The club is eager to compete against top European teams after a successful season last year.
