Fallen Angels Dance Theatre Prepares for Performance at Royal Opera House

Fallen Angels Dance Theatre is rehearsing for a sold-out performance at the Royal Opera House in London, with dancers honing their choreography in Chester.

The group, formed to support individuals recovering from addiction and mental health issues, emphasizes the healing power of dance. Members like Michelle Hughes, who joined after personal trauma, and Tom Denbigh, who has attended for seven years due to PTSD, share their journeys of recovery through movement.

Creative director Claire Morris highlighted the group's role in helping participants release emotional tensions, stating that the experience allows them to connect with their bodies and create lasting memories. The performance, titled Holding Light, will also be showcased at Chester's Storyhouse and Liverpool's Everyman Theatre.
