FanGraphs Launches Contract Crowdsourcing for 2026-27 Free Agents

FanGraphs has started its contract crowdsourcing initiative for the 2026-27 free agent market, coinciding with the free agency period that begins five days after the World Series.

This year’s project includes new features based on reader feedback, allowing participants to predict whether players will receive minor league contracts or no contracts at all. Additionally, users can indicate the likelihood of players opting to remain with their current teams or becoming free agents.

The ballots feature 11 free agents, specifically a selection of pitchers, among whom is the winter's top free agent.
