Fantasy Football Mock Draft Highlights Robust RB Strategy
A mock draft conducted with FantasyPros’ simulator involved a 10-team, half-PPR format, focusing on a robust running back strategy from the No. 8 draft position.
The draft began with the selection of Jonathan Taylor, followed by Chase Brown and Javonte Williams, solidifying the emphasis on running backs. The next phase shifted to acquiring pass-catchers, including Tyler Warren, who is expected to rise in the tight end rankings, and wide receivers Malik Nabers, Luther Burden III, and Parker Washington, the latter emerging as a key target for Trevor Lawrence.
Additional running backs Tony Pollard and Blake Corum were chosen to enhance depth. The draft also saw Trevor Lawrence selected later than expected, despite his strong performance last season. Kyle Pitts was noted for his breakout year in 2025, while Tank Bigsby was highlighted as a potential waiver wire target if Saquon Barkley were to be injured.
