Fastest Bikes and Gear at the 2026 IRONMAN World Championship
The 2026 IRONMAN World Championship showcased a variety of bikes and components used by the fastest riders. Notably, the fastest female competitor opted for an aero road helmet rather than a traditional time trial helmet and chose tires that were not the most aggressive available from Continental.
On the men's side, the fastest rider utilized a Pinarello bike, with several unique choices among competitors. Over half of the top bike splits were achieved with SRAM drivetrains, while Continental tires remained the top choice for many professionals, although Pirelli is gaining traction. A total of twelve different wheel manufacturers were represented among the leading splits.
As always, only those who finished strong were highlighted, with notable riders like Lucy Charles-Barclay and Magnus Ditlev absent from the top results.
