Felix Rosenqvist Claims Portland IndyCar Pole in Dramatic Finish

Felix Rosenqvist achieved pole position for the Grand Prix of Portland during a competitive IndyCar Series qualifying session. The driver for Meyer Shank Racing completed a final lap in 58.428 seconds, narrowly surpassing reigning champion Alex Palou by 0.0184 seconds.

This marks Rosenqvist's second pole of the season, following his earlier success at Long Beach. The session saw Palou initially setting a fast time of 59.365 seconds before improving to 58.501 seconds, but he was ultimately unable to secure the top spot as Rosenqvist made his late push.

Other notable performances included Will Power and Marcus Ericsson, who finished third and fourth respectively. The session remained competitive despite an incident involving Scott Dixon, who sustained damage after hitting a barrier but continued to participate.
