Ferran Torres Transfers to PSG from Barcelona for £42.7m

PSG has finalized the acquisition of Ferran Torres from Barcelona for £42.7m. The striker gained recognition for scoring the decisive goal in the 2026 World Cup final, leading Spain to victory over Argentina.

Torres, who will don the No 9 jersey in Paris, has signed a contract that extends until 2031. During his time at Barcelona, he made 207 appearances and scored 65 goals, contributing to six major titles, including a Copa del Rey win against Real Madrid.

This transfer may allow Barcelona to allocate funds towards their ongoing efforts to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri, following a recent rejected bid of £55m for the player.
