Ferrari to Upgrade F1 Engine for Italian Grand Prix

Ferrari is set to upgrade its engine for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix, alongside aerodynamic improvements and track-specific components, as it seeks success at its home race.

The team will implement an ADUO-permitted upgrade to its power unit, which includes modifications to the combustion chamber and turbocharger, potentially increasing power by 15 horsepower. This upgrade aims to reduce the performance gap to Mercedes, which is currently viewed as the top competitor.

Ferrari's engineers have confirmed that the new 067/7 engine has passed reliability tests, and they are focused on achieving optimal power and torque distribution. Additionally, a new aerodynamic version of the Macarena rear wing will debut, and the team is also celebrating Michael Schumacher’s legacy with a special livery. Despite recent challenges, Ferrari is determined to improve its standings in the constructors' championship.
