FIA Collaborates with AWS to Enhance F1 Regulations

The FIA has formed a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance its digital capabilities and improve the development of technical regulations in motorsport.

As part of this collaboration, AWS will serve as the Official AI and Cloud Computing Partner, providing tools that will aid the FIA in creating future regulations. The FIA will utilize AWS’s High Performance Computing technology for aerodynamic simulations, enabling virtual air flow tests that reduce costs and expedite the process.

This partnership also aims to enhance the FIA's digital licensing platform, which simplifies license administration for national sporting authorities. Initially trialed in Canada and Sri Lanka, this platform will now be expanded to additional countries. FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem noted that the integration of AWS technology is crucial for advancing the sport and increasing global participation.
