FIA's International Court of Appeal Addresses Briatore's Bias Claims

The FIA's International Court of Appeal has issued a statement addressing allegations made by Alpine executive Flavio Briatore concerning bias in the Monaco Grand Prix case. Briatore claimed that one of the judges involved had connections to McLaren.

The court clarified that its judges were appointed following established judicial procedures. This case arose when McLaren and Red Bull appealed against the decision to rescind penalties imposed on Alpine driver Pierre Gasly for pitlane speeding during the Monaco GP.

In its response, the ICA emphasized that no objections were raised regarding the panel's composition during the appeal hearing. It also highlighted the importance of having judges from diverse backgrounds to enhance fairness and credibility in the judicial process.
