The governing body emphasized that it is not selling football, despite threats of a boycott from UEFA and criticism from Concacaf and the Asian Football Confederation.</p><p>The controversy centers around FIFA's plan to create FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE), a subsidiary intended to manage the commercial rights of FIFA competitions. UEFA has unanimously agreed to boycott FIFA events if the proposal moves forward, while FIFA president Gianni Infantino faces internal challenges following the resignation of senior adviser Carlos Cordeiro, who opposed the plan.</p><p>FIFA stated that it will continue consultations with its 211 member associations before any final decisions are made.
