Filip Jorgensen Joins Strasbourg on Loan from Chelsea
Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is preparing to move to Strasbourg on a season-long loan. This transfer is part of a collaborative effort between the two clubs, both owned by the Clearlake-Boehly group.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been sought by Strasbourg's new manager Hugo Oliveira, who is looking for a ball-playing goalkeeper following the return of Mike Penders to Chelsea. Jorgensen aims to gain more regular playing time after finding it difficult to compete with Chelsea's first-choice keeper, Robert Sanchez.
In addition to Jorgensen, Strasbourg has also secured a loan deal for Chelsea academy defender Genesis Antwi. The partnership between the clubs has resulted in several player transactions, including Chelsea's permanent acquisitions of midfielder Valentin Barco, striker Emmanuel Emegha, and defender Mamadou Sarr.
