Filip Nowacki Secures Gold in 200m Breaststroke at European Championships

Filip Nowacki, an 18-year-old swimmer from Great Britain, won the gold medal in the men's 200m breaststroke final at the European Aquatics Championships held in Paris.

Nowacki achieved a time of 2:07.70, narrowly defeating Dutch swimmer Caspar Corbeau, who finished in 2:07.78. Luka Mladenovic from Austria secured third place with a time of 2:08.91, while fellow Briton Gregory Butler placed fifth at 2:09.45.

Earlier, Nowacki made headlines by winning gold in the same event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. In other events, Lauren Cox and Freya Colbert earned bronze medals for Great Britain, with Cox finishing third in the women's 50m backstroke final and Colbert placing third in the women's 200m freestyle final.
