Finalists for AFL's 2026 Mark of the Year Announced
Kysaiah Pickett, Shai Bolton, and Nick Watson have been named as finalists for the AFL's 2026 Mark of the Year award. The announcement follows their recent appearances on the All-Australian stage, where they compete for a prize of $50,000 and two million Velocity Points.
The winner will be selected by the AFL All Australian selection panel and announced during the Brownlow Medal ceremony on September 21, 2026. Pickett aims to win both the Mark and Goal of the Year awards this season.
In Round 7, Pickett showcased his skills against Richmond, using defender Campbell Gray to elevate himself. Bolton, in Round 15, made a remarkable mark over teammate Patrick Voss and Geelong's Jake Kolodjasnij. Watson's notable grab in Round 24 against West Coast saw him soar above defender Liam Baker in challenging weather conditions.
